The Latta School Board of Trustees met for the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the District Administrative Conference Room.
There being no corrections or additions to the October 9, 2018 minutes and the current agenda, Chair Kyle Berry ruled that they stand approved.
Stuart Poston made a motion to approve the second revision of the 2018-2019 school calendar and to give permission to ask the state department to forgive one school day. Eleanor Powers seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous.
Donna Taylor presented the status report for September 2018 on the General Fund Budget.

Auditor Bob Harper from Harper, Poston & Moree, P.A. presented the audit report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018. George Liebenrood presented the ACT, SAT and IB test scores. Sandy Jones gave an update on the Exceptional Children program. The 2018-2019 school year 45th Day Student Count report was presented by Robert McIntyre. Robert McIntyre gave an update on the technology department. Larry Legette gave an operational report.
An update on the South Carolina School Board Association Grant Award was given by Dr. John Kirby.
Dr. John Kirby update the Board on the Latta High School/Latta Middle School roof project.
