The Lake View Lady Wild Gators won 55-38 over visiting Green Sea Floyds in varsity basketball action played on Tuesday, January 8.
The Lady Gators took an early 15-7 lead after the first period and continued to add the margin. By halftime, Lake View led 32-16. After 3 periods of play the score was 48-23.
Lake View’s Janiyah Waters led the team in scoring with 12 points followed by Gwen Page with 11 points. Zanasia McNeil added 10 points, and Jan Ford contributed 7 points. Milaisha Wheeler added 6 points, and Zalona Henburgh had 4 points. Jaleya Ford added 3 points to the scoreboard while Page added 2 points.
