Rev. Stan Rankin of the Hamer Church of God was the guest speaker at NAP (Need a Prayer) meeting held at B&C Barbecue and Steakhouse on Wednesday, October 17.
He said event though we live in the technology era, there is one who knows everything about us – God.
He spoke on Romans 8:31-37. He said God is a God for us. God made us for himself that we could know him and serve him.
He also spoke on Psalm 100 Throughout history – man has tried to make his own god. There is only one God above all gods. He fits us; we fit Him. If you are full of the Holy Spirit, you are for God. The false gods that the world makes fall to pieces. Our God carries us. The Lord God is for us – He lifts us up. If we call on God, He will help us. Our God through what Jesus did on the cross is for us. Paul says, “If God is for you, who can be against you?” God is on your side if you have put your faith and trust in Him.
When we yield and surender our lives to Him, He will pull us up. Be encouraged today. God is for you.
