Lindell Wilkerson, 71, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Fairmont, NC, August 16, 1947, he was the son of the late Wiley Wilkerson and Eris Floyd Blanton. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War evacuating the wounded.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis McLamb Wilkerson of Latta; daughters, Bridget (Mushy) of Blenheim, and Kris (Tony Dean) of Latta; son, Marty Wilkerson (Connie) of West Virginia; grandchildren, Christopher (Lacy) Wilkerson, Garrett Hopkins, Destiny McKenzie, Brooklyn McKenzie, and Hayden Howell; step-grandchildren, Nick Howell and Haley Dean; great-grandchildren, Ellie Hopkins of FL, Avin McKenzie of Latta, and Christopher Lynn Wilkerson, Jr. of Latta; brothers and sister, Horace (Carolyn) Wilkerson of Fairmont, NC, Jimmy (Linda) Wilkerson of Lumberton, NC, Vivian Anderson of Lumberton, Junior Blanton (Lisa) of Fairmont, and Terry (Betty) Wilkerson of Delaware.
