During the week of October 23 – 31, the faculty, staff and students at East observed Red Ribbon Week. The theme for the week was “Super Heroes Don’t Do Drugs”. Activities during the week included: “Pledge Day” students wrote a Drug Free poem or drew a picture using the theme; “Wear Red Day” everyone wore red; “We’re A Drug Free Team Day” everyone was asked to wear clothing to support your favorite team and “My Character Counts Day” everyone dressed as their favorite storybook character.
