Mike Grice has been elected as the new chairman of the Dillon County Election Commission.
Grice is a lifelong resident of Dillon County. He has worked at Food Lion for the past 20 years and prior to that was employed at Dixiana.
He became interested in politics in 2010 and is a former candidate for the Dillon County Council District Three Seat which he pursued in 2012.
He was appointed to the Dillon County Election Commission by Governor Nikki Haley in 2016.
Grice said he will work hard to ensure honest and fair elections in Dillon County.
Melissa Thompson was elected as vice-chair.
