Malique Jamal Gregory, age 23, of Dillon has been charged with murder for the death of Preston Benjamin that occurred on June 26, 2018 at Benjamin’s residence in Dillon County, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Gregory is currently in custody at the Dillon County Detention Center.
Benjamin was a popular local landscaper.
