Trinity’s Facility In Marion Damaged By Hurricane

Trinity Behavioral Care’s facility can be added to the list of buildings severely damaged by Hurricane Florence.
The hurricane force wind and driving rain resulted in catastrophic roof failure rendering their Court Street facility uninhabitable. Trinity’s furniture and equipment are considered a total loss.
“It was quite a hit”, said Donny Brock, Executive Director. “We lost all of our communications equipment, records, and furniture. It has taken us over two weeks to rebuild our network and regain phone service.” During this period Trinity has continued to see clients at their Dillon facility.
Trinity, also known as the Marion County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, has served residents of Marion County for over 40 years providing evidenced based addiction treatment and prevention programming as well as general counseling, drug testing, and EAP services. “We want to wish everyone affected by the hurricane and devastating floods our deepest sympathy”, Brock continued. “Trinity would like to thank Marion County for providing us temporary space in their old administration building at 1305 N. Main St. We expect to begin providing services in this location October 8, 2018.”
Should anyone desire to support Trinity to rebuild its facility and programming, donation can be made to Trinity Wellness Foundation (it’s 501c3 support foundation) at PO Box 1011, Marion, SC 29571.
