A Lake View couple died after the car went off into a ditch just before the bridge on JoAnn Branch Road.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the victims as Clifford Carl Cole, a 73-year-old white male, and his wife, Rhonda Sue Cole, a 65-year-old white female.
Grimsley said they both died as a result of asphixiation due to drowning.
