PHOTO GALLERY: Latta United Methodist Church Holds Vacation Bible School

Latta United Methodist Church held Vacation Bible School July 16-20. This year’s theme was “Rolling River Rampage.”
VBS Director Becky Coleman reported to the Latta UMC congregation that they had a “wonderful week.” Attendance including adults ranged from 59 to 67 each day with anywhere from 40 to 48 children attending each day.
This year’s theme verse from Isaiah 43:2 was “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” The verse was a “constant reminder that God will be with you during the easy times and the difficult times.”
During this week, VBSers discovered “that life with God is an adventure full of wonder and surprise, and that they can trust God to be with them through anything.”
VBSers “learned Bible verses, acted out Bible stories, sang contemporary Biblical music, watched and participated in skits, made crafts, participated in recreation, and took part in mission projects.’ Class ages included nursery, 4k-5k, First and Second grade, third through fifth grade, ad sixth through twelfth grades.
