4-H Youth Summer Programs Announced

The Summer Programs for Youth for 4-H Clemson Extension have been announced.

Ice Cream Creations and
Tie-Dying T-shirts
Dillon: August 8, 2018 (12:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
$5 per participant; please bring your own white t-shirt for tie dying.
Bring your lunch to the Extension Office and spend the afternoon learning how to make dessert – homemade ice cream! While the ice cream is churning, youth will tie-dye t-shirts.

Beach Combing Workshop
Dillon: July 31, 2018 (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Free. Open to all 4-H aged youth.
We are bringing the beach to the County Extension Office! Learn to classify sea shells, determine what living creature might have inhabited the shell and make a shell craft to take home with you. Shells will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own stash for the group to see and identify.

Exciting Engineering Workshop
Dillon: July 25, 2018 (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
Open to all 4-H aged youth.
$5 per participant
4-Hers will participate in a Mystery Bag Challenge, where they are given a bag of materials with simple instructions for what their finished creation should do. This engineering challenge is sure to inspire friendly competition among participants.
