The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Dale’s Garden Center, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery at Dale’s Garden Center located on Highway 301 South, Dillon.
According to an incident report by Deputies Russell Hubbard and Ryan Bethea, a male entered the business and was asking about dog food. The victim noticed another male in another area of the business.
Upon the victim entering that area, the victim was confronted by a male pointing a gun at him. The victim engaged the gunman, and the two suspects ran out and got in a grey in color vehicle and fled.
Assisting at the scene were Sgt. Glenn Coates and Investigators Reggie Thompson and Shannon Grainger.
