Services for Johnny McArthur Cox were held 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Trinity Holiness Church of Gaddy’s Mill with burial in Oakland Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Cox, 67, went to be with his Lord & Savior Friday, May 11, 2018.
Born in Mullins, SC, November 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Harley Inman Cox and Eunice Byrd Cox. He was a member of Trinity Holiness Church of Gaddy’s Mill where he was the Superintendent, and was retired from Florence Builders.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sharon Cox of Dillon; daughter, Teresa M. Cox of Lake View; son, Johnny Mack (Jamie) Cox of Dillon; grandchildren, Austin (Madison) Clark, Jordan Clark, Brianna Hyatt, Jordan Hyatt, and MacKinlee Cox; brothers, Rev. Ronnie (Ann) Cox of Latta, and Rev. Kenny (Darlene) Cox of Oakland; sisters, Mary Sue Ammons and Patricia (Rev. Charles) Tart of Lake View.
