Services for Evelyn M. Ivey Mishue were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mishue, 88, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Robeson County, NC, September 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Ivey and Ida Ivey. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hamer, and was a retired Seamstress.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Edward Mishue, Sr. (Joan) of Dillon; daughter, Linda Gail Hyatt of Hamer; grandchildren, Jimmy Edward “Eddie” Mishue, Jr., Teresa Hyatt (Andy), Emily McKenzie (Jay), Bobby Lee “Scoot” Mishue, and James Huston “Jamie” Hyatt, Jr. (Trinket); great-grandchildren, Trey Edward Mishue, A.J. Walsh, Ryan Walsh, Trent Herring, Lindsay Hyatt, Tripp Hyatt, and Katie Mishue; brother, A.W. Ivey of Orrum, NC.
Mrs. Mishue was preceded in death by her husband, Jold Edward Mishue; sons, Billy C. Mishue and Bobby Mishue; and sisters, Maggie Bass, Dollie Mae Bullock, and Mercelle Ivey; and by a son-in-law, James Hyatt, Sr.
