Mr. James Laval Johnson, 74, beloved husband of Gladys “Becky” Hyatt Ward Johnson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2018 at the Carolina’s Hospital System in Florence after complications from a fall surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Union Baptist Church in the Temperance Hill Community, with burial following in the church cemetery, directed by Cooper Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Evins Washington will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00pm at Poplar Creek Baptist Church in Lake View, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Washington died on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence in Nichols, South Carolina. Bartell Funeral Home, LLC of Dillon, SC is in charge of these arrangements. The family is receiving friends at 2240 Rabbit Island Road, Nichols, SC.
