Lake View Beats PDA In Lake View Tournament Championship Game

The Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles handed the Lake View Wild Gators a 6-1 loss in varsity baseball at the Lake View Tournament held in Lake View over the weekend.
Pee Dee took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning and added 2 runs in the second inning, 1 run in the third inning and 2 runs in the fourth inning while Lake View’s lone run came in the fifth inning.
Lake View managed 2 hits and 1 run while committing 1 error in the game.
Pee Dee managed 9 hits and 6 runs while committing 1 error in the game.
Pee Dee’s Timmy Felder picked up the win. He pitched the entire 5 innings and struck out 9 and walked 6.
Lake View’s Webb Caldwell was tagged with the loss. He pitched 4 innings and allowed 5 earned runs, walked 1, and struck out 7. Timmy Felder connected for a double in 3 at-bats for the Golden Eagles. Jesse Lane went 2-for-3 at the plate with a rbi while Garrett McDaniels picked a double and 2 rbi in 3 at-bats. Jake Lane picked up 2 rbi on 1 hit in 2 at-bats. Dalton Buffkin was perfect with 2 hits in 2 at-bats.
Lake View’s Jeff Lewis connected for a hit in 2 trips to the plate.
