New Dillon County Council Chairman Stevie Grice shared his thoughts about the coming year after his 6-0 election as Dillon County Council chairman on Friday at a called meeting.
Grice thanked everyone on council for voting for him and for the confidence they have instilled in him.
Grice wants council to work together and work with the municipalities, schools, and other entities to help move Dillon County forward.
Grice said the county has a golden opportunity with the coming of Inland Port Dillon.
He said that council should have a common goal of making Dillon County better and doing the right thing.
