LEXINGTON- A funeral Mass for Wayne Harrelson, 78, will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends following the ceremony at the parish center. Mr. Harrelson, born in Mullins, SC, died Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Betty Jean (BJ) Harrelson, Sons; Robert and David Harrelson (both of West Columbia), Wesley Harrelson (Lori) of Lexington their children, Raegan Harrelson, Zach Long; Daughter; Deborah Porth (John), of St Matthews, their children, Sydney, Anna, Natalie Grace. Brothers; Laverne Harrelson (Barbara) of Columbia, Russell Harrelson (Verle) of Lexington, and John Harrelson (June) of West Columbia. Mr Harrelson was predeceased by his sisters; Bernice Harrelson and Sandra Sherrill.
Wayne was a very loving, caring person who was always concerned about others. He loved his family and bragged to everyone about his grandchildren.
