Coroner Donnie Grimsley has identified the man struck by the train this past weekend.
Grimsley said the man was Alsworth Carter, a 67-year-old white male. He died as a result of being struck by the train said Grimsley, who has ruled the death accidental.
Grimsley said Carter was a resident of Dillon County.
