The members then stood and recited The Lord’s Prayer in unison.
Melissa Moody read the Secretary’s report from the previous month and it was approved as read.
Jamie Sue Stephens, Pilot Historian, made a motion for the Pilot Club to start collecting pennies for “Pennies for Pilots” and she also made a motion that the club purchase pins for each member. Both motions were approved and seconded.
Treasurer Francis Shillingburg read the budget and discussed the date for next year’s dues to be accepted. The club is excited to have several upcoming fundraisers that will increase our funding to go towards Pilot’s missions.
Old business discussed was the crowning of the 2017-2018 PI Ambassador, Chris Harris. Another order of business was the Fall Council meeting on October 21, 2017 at the Embassy Suites in Columbia, SC.
