A Clear and Present Shame
To The Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to salute Bishop Michael Goings for his recent article entitled A CLEAR AND PRESENT SHAME.
I don’t know when I have read anything that spelled out more truth that this article, and I think it was more meaningful coming from someone of the same race.
I am not saying that African-American youth are the only guilty ones in our town, because I am sure it goes on in the white neighborhoods as well. I would hope that our city and county leaders as well as law enforcement would take time to read this article.
I thank Bishop Goings again for telling it just like it is.
