Rev. James Smith of the East Dillon Baptist Church was the guest speaker. Before he began his sermon he informed everyone that he had been in Dillon for 16 and 1/2 years. Rev. Smith stated, “During that time, we have tried to bridge the gap among all races as we are all God’s people.”
He informed the public that Brother Smiling of New Faith has reached out to all races and will host a meeting on Saturday, April 29, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Rev. Smith gave a very inspirational message from II Timothy, Chapter 1, verses 8-12 and I John, Chapter 1, verse 9.
