The Lake View Lady Wild Gators traveled to Lake City on Monday, April 10, and returned home with a 10-9 win in the 10-inning varsity softball game.
The Lady Wild Gators found themselves down by 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lake View’s Courtney Cox singled to score Amber Keefe and Malan Wilson to force extra innings.
The Lady Wild Gators connected for 2 runs in the top of the ninth and were able to get the winning run across home plate in the top of the tenth inning to claim the 1-run victory.
The Lake View Lady Wild Gators will host Hannah Pamplico today (Thursday, April 13).
