On April 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Latta will hold their annual Latta Springfest.
Come and enjoy fabulous food, handmade crafts, delightful entertainment, Easter bonnet contest, and Easter Egg Hunt at the Historic Edwards House.
There will be something for people of all ages. New inflatables, pony and camel rides, petting zoo, games for children, face painting, and mechanical rides will be on hand for the children.
Both children and adults will enjoy the mechanical bull, trackless train, and the bungee jump.
Featured entertainers, Elite Dance Company at 11:30 followed by Herbert (Rocky) Meekins doing a Beatles Tribute.
The Tru Sol Band featuring two local entertainers will keep the entertainment rocking from 12:30-4:30 p.m.! AIWS/OSWA wrestling featuring Dino James will perform at 2:00 p.m. on South Mauldin Street. Mr. Calvin Williams will perform at 2:30 p.m.
Local radio personality, Dan E. Lockemy, will also be back as Master of Ceremonies. These are just a few of the many attractions awaiting you in Latta.
There will be a display of many antique items including farming equipment, motor scooters, and antique tractors, for the antique lover in the family.
Also, we will offer tours of the Dillon County Museum and the old Post Office. Many antique artifacts can be found along with some very interesting history of our town.
Rain or shine there is something for everyone in Latta on Saturday, April 15th. See you in Latta!
