Johnny Eller retained his seat on the Dillon City Council winning another term in office over his opponent, Chip Huggins.
Only 33 votes separated Eller and Huggins with Eller receiving 156 votes and Huggins receiving 123 votes.
The breakdown of votes was as follows:

The Town of Lake View elected a new mayor and two new councilmen during their election on Tuesday.
Matthew Elvington was elected mayor. Elvington has been serving as a councilman and mayor pro-tem.
Two new councilmen were also elected—David Kitchens and Tony Hayes.
