Lake View Gets 8-3 Win Over Lake City

Logan Spivey pitched a complete game in the 8-3 win over Lake City in a varsity softball game played in Lake View on Tuesday, March 7.
The Wild Gators’ Logan Spivey allowed 6 hits, 3 runs of which 1 was earned, struck out 4, walked 4, and hit 2 batters with a pitch.
Brianna Vanhoose was tagged with the loss. She pitched 6 innings and allowed 12 hits, 8 runs of which 7 were earned, and struck out 1.
Lake View managed to pick up 4 runs in the bottom of the first and another run in the bottom of the second inning before Lake  City garnered a run in the top of the third. Lake City added 2 more runs in the top of the fourth. Lake View added annother 3 runs in he bottom of the fourth to close out the scoring for the game.
Jasmine Ford connected for 3 hits in her 4 trips to the plate for the Lady Wild Gators while Logan Spivey also went 2 for 4 at the plate with a rbi. Savannah Church was 2 for 3 at the plate, and Spivey Evans was 2 for 4 at the plate for the Wild Gators.
Lake View is 1-0 for the season.
Lake View hosted Mullins on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:30 p.m.
