Pilot Club Meets

The Pilot Club of Dillon met on January 26, 2017 at the City of Dillon Fire Department. 10 members were in attendance.
The meeting was called to order by Jamie Sue Stephens. The members recited the pledges to the American and South Carolina flag. 
The invocation was given by Chaplain Millie Stanton. She spoke on the goodness the Lord is and how he blesses in the midst of storms.
She also mentioned she was the proud great-grand parent of a beautiful little boy; Tanner Douglas Welsh. The proud parents are Brittni and BJ Welsh.
The Treasurer’s report and Secretary’s report was read and approved. Refreshments were served. Julie Hatcher provided delicious shrimp and grits.  Next, the new business of the meeting was discussed. 
The mystery gift and St. Jude monies were collected. The mystery gift was won by Dot Watson. The meeting was then adjourned.
The Pilot Club of Dillon is a non-profit volunteer organization. 
Our main focus is on brain safety and assistance to those with brain related disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, chemical dependency, traumatic brain injuries and emotional and mental disabilities.
