Mr. Gregg Moody, 64, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, after an illness surrounded by his loving family.
The funeral service will be Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Lake View United Methodist Church, Lake View, SC. The burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 6:00 pm-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Gregg was born in Mullins, SC, the son of the late Hoyt and Addie Arnette Moody. Gregg was a loyal fan of the Lake View Wild Gators, Clemson Tigers, and Elvis Presley. He also loved going to church and being an active member of the Lake View community. He had many buddies and never met a stranger.
Gregg is survived by his brother, Gene Moody, and sister, Luna Moody of the home; brother Maurice Moody (Betty Sue) of Lake View, SC; sisters, Ann Cooke and Maudine Sanderson (Jimmy) of Lake View, SC, and Martha Britt (Jimmy) of Marion, SC; sister-in-laws, Cheryl Moody and Diana Moody of Lake View, SC, and Faye Moody of Lumberton, NC. He also has several loving nieces and nephews.
Gregg was preceded in death by his brothers Jack Moody, Lynn Moody, and Neil Moody, and sister, Adaline Moody.
