The Lake View Wild Gators defeated Creek Bridge 43-14 in varsity football action played in Lake View on Friday, October 21.
The Lake View Wild Gators’ quarterback Duane Nichols threw for 103 yards and accounted for 2 touchdowns.
Lake View’s offense was too much for Creek Bridge to handle as the Wild Gators scored 35 points in the first 10 minutes of the game. Quarterback Duane Nichols scored on a 14-yard run 11:16 remaining in the first quarter. The PAT by Brandon Ossavito was good and Lake View led 7-0.
Lake View’s Deante Bridgette scored on a 10-yard run with 9:20 remaining in the first quarter. The PAT was no good. Lake View led 13-0.
Tyshawn McDaniel scored on a 48-yard punt return with 8:01 remaining in the first quarter. The PAT failed. Lake View led 19-0.
Tyshawn McDaniels was on the receiving end of a pass from Duane Nichols and scored 6 points on the 45-yard play. The 2-point conversion was good, and Lake View led 26-0 with 5:03 remaining.
Deante Bridgette scored from 4 yards out and a completed pass for the 2-point conversion was good.
With 10:37 remaining in the second quarter, Randall Washington scored on a 14-yard run, and the 2-point conversion was good.
Randall Washinton carried 5 times for 71 yards, and Lake View’s quarterback Duane Nichols completed 6 of 7 passes for 103 yards.
Creek Bridge got on the scoreboard with 4:18 remaining in the third quarter on a 1-yard run. The PAT failed.
In the final quarter Creek Bridge added 8 points on 21-yard pass from #2 to #6. The 2-point conversion was good.
Lake View is perfect at 7-0 for the season.
