On Sunday, October 16th, the youth, pastor, and several members from Beulah Baptist Church took supplies such as toothbrushes, toothpaste,  deodorant,  soap, washcloths, toilet paper, shampoo, and other items that were donated by members of the church to South Robeson High School to deliver the items and do some volunteer work.
We were greeted with open arms by the American Red Cross and the National Guard. After we unloaded the goods, we went to the cafeteria, where we had bags, bags and even more bags of clothes that needed to be sorted by sizes.
These clothing items will be given to each person in the shelter along with food, hygiene products, and other items that were donated to the shelter to help the families begin the recovery process.
It was a very humbling experience to be able to give to a community that is in need.
We are truly grateful to be a part of a compassionate church such as Beulah Baptist Church.
