Byrd Named Associate Vice-President Of Quality & Safety At McLeod Dillon

McLeod Medical Center Dillon is pleased to announce that Lisa Byrd, BSN, MPH, has been named Associate Vice-President of Quality and Safety.

“McLeod Dillon, then Saint Eugene, is where I began my career as a nurse. As part of a small rural healthcare facility, I had the unique opportunity to be mentored and trained by a highly qualified, compassionate team of nurses, physicians and ancillary staff,” said Lisa.
“I chose McLeod Health for their service excellence standards—the value of caring, the value of the person, the value of quality and the value of integrity. These values align perfectly with my core values and skill set,” she added.
Lisa and her family have had positive experiences at McLeod Health. Lisa shared, “McLeod Health saved my grandson’s life in 2015 when he was in need of an emergent appendectomy. McLeod Health is the system my extended family has selected as their healthcare system.” Lisa looks forward to her new role, and will strive to continuously improve the quality of care delivered by McLeod Medical Center Dillon. “I will offer my years of experience as an opportunity to move our organization to the next level,” she said. Lisa and her husband, Jerry, reside in Orrum, NC, and have three adult children and six grandchildren. In her free time, Lisa enjoys bicycling, reading, horseback riding, volunteer work for local missions and spending time with her grandchildren.
