FLORENCE—The New Year brings changes in staff at Florence, SC-based ArborOne Farm Credit, the Pee Dee Region’s largest agricultural lender.
ArborOne is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah H. Jackson to Director of Human Resources effective January 1st, 2016.  Mrs. Jackson, who previously served as Vice President and Senior HR Administrator, has been with ArborOne since 2006.  Prior to college, she was an active member of the United States Army.  Mrs. Jackson’s service to our nation included a deployment to Bosnia.
Mrs. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Francis Marion University and a Master of Science Degree in Finance from Indiana University.  She is also a graduate of the South Eastern Agricultural Lenders School (SEALS).  Mrs. Jackson will continue to uphold her duties as the Association’s Corporate Secretary, a position she has held since August of 2013.
Retiring from ArborOne after 24 years of service is Don Boice, who most recently served as Senior Relationship Manager.  Don has served in many roles during his nearly quarter-century at ArborOne, including Farm-Related Services (crop insurance) and Chief Relationship Manager.  Don, who grew up on a dairy farm, has continued to farm while working for Farm Credit, which has allowed him to earn the respect of his customers over the years.  Don’s retirement is effective January 31st.
In other staff moves, Kelli Michalski moved from the Operations Unit to become an HR Administrator II effective January 1st, and Lauren Jolley will move from Credit Support to a Loan Specialist I position beginning April 1st.  These moves are promotions for both Michalski and Jolley.
