Latta Girls Have Their Eye On State Basketball Title

Latta High School Lady Vikings Coach Curtis Jackson enters his eighth season as head coach this year, and he is eagerly anticipating the upcoming season and is eyeing a state championship.
With a 22-6 record and a loss of only three players from last year, he only needs to fill the center position and has the most experience at point guard.
His expectation is “for the team to continue playing good basketball. Our goal is to return to the state championship, and winning the championship two out of three years.”
He feels their toughest opponent on this year’s schedule will be Dillon.
Jackson said he is “looking forward to getting started.”
