Dillon Native To Appear On ‘Roanoke: Search For The Lost Colony’

Dillon native, Jason “Lumberjack” Johnson, has been busy and continues to move his acting career onward and upward elevating his career each time.

On Monday, October 26th at 9 p.m. on The History Channel, he will be in “Roanoke: Search for the Lost Colony.” This will speak to the mysterious disappearance of the first 119 settlers to America. Haywood Pearce, Jr., plays the role of a lawyer who meets up with Turner (played by Lumberjack), and the two of them talk about a stone found at the farm leader’s property with the farmer’s worker nearby.
Jason has been acting since 2010 when he first appeared in “Wrong Side of Town” with Rob Van Dam, Dave Batista and Ja Rule. Other noteworthy appearances have been “Ticking Clock” (2011), ABC: “Final Witness” (2012), CMT: “Sweet Home Alabama” (2013), and TWM: “Three Scientists Walk into a Bar” (2015).
Jason has been adding to his resume with roles on the WEATHER Channel’s 3 Scientists in a Bar, and was on Alvin and The Chipmunks 4. Soon he will be working on Heroes vs. Villains and next he expects to be filming a project of his own in 2016 called “Country in My Blood”. Along with new roles he also has a clothing line with t-shirts available for purchase.
