Dixie Youth baseball district tournament playoffs were scheduled to continue this week after rain delays and holidays forced postponements.
Dillon and Latta were set to face off in the Dixie Youth 9- and 10-year-old district tournament in Mullins, SC. The winner of the game will move on to the championship, while the loser will be eliminated.
Delmae and Lake City were also scheduled to face off, with the winner of that game facing either Dillon or Latta.
The 13- and 14-year-old tournament was also set to continue this week.
State tournaments are set to begin with the AA and “O” Zone divisions on Friday, July 10. The AAA and Majors divisions will begin their state tournaments on Friday, July 17.
The AA World Series will begin on Sunday, August 2, in North Myrtle Beach, SC, and the AAA, Majors, and “O” Zone World Series tournaments will be held in Lexington, SC, beginning on Friday, August 7.
