The Latta 10 & under Angels All-Stars won the Dixie Softball District 1 tournament on Friday, June 26, shutting out Myrtle Beach 23-0 at the North Myrtle Beach complex in the championship game.
The Latta Angels went 5-0 in the tournament, scoring 100 runs and not allowing a single run. They will travel to Seneca, South Carolina, for the state tournament and will play Lancaster in the first game of state on Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m.
