Scammers are calling people in the Latta area claiming to be the IRS (Internal Revenue Service), according to Latta Police Chief Crystal Moore. They give a number to call back and are threatening to arrest people. Three people reported receiving these calls to the Latta Police Department. Do not give out any personal or financial information over the phone. Ignore these calls or if your have concerns, contact the Latta Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.
