A third suspect has been arrested in the armed robbery of the Dollar General store in Riverdale on February 25th, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnta Quamon Purnell, age 22, of Dillon, has been charged with armed robbery in the case.
Two other suspects—Cornelius Jackson, age 18, of Dillon, and Devonte Wheeler, age 18, of Dillon—were captured at the store the night of the incident and charged with armed robbery. The third suspct, Purnell, fled the scene.
