Malcolm Allen Miller, 78, died at his residence in the Temperance Hill Community, Thursday, January 29, 2015. Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church with interment at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation was held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Church Fellowship Hall prior to the service. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Mr. Miller was born in Marion County, South Carolina, December 24, 1936, the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Grace Rogers Miller. Malcolm was a member of Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rogers Miller; son, Scotty A. Miller (Kristin M. Omberg) of Los Alamos, NM ; daughter, Teresa Lane of Latta, SC; brothers, James S. Miller of Warner Robbins, GA, Jack W. Miller (Faye) of Marion, SC, Jerry C. Miller (Sara Frances) of New Bern, NC; sisters, Connie M. Berry of Mullins, SC, Brenda M. Calhoun (Tommy) of Marion, SC, Linda M. Hinson (Henry) of Florence, SC, Doris Ann Johnson (Bill) of Latta, SC; four grand and great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Emma, Matthew, and Nicole; and the mother of his children, Alice Faye Miller of Latta, SC. He was predeceased by his son, Malcolm D. Miller and step-mother, Gretelle Meggs Miller.
