Brian Fast Named First Citizens Vice-President and Market Executive For Florence Market

FLORENCE—First Citizens announced that Brian Fast has been named Vice-President and Market Executive for the bank’s Florence market and the surrounding community. In his new role as Market Executive, Fast will oversee all retail and commercial functions in the greater Florence area, which includes the company’s Hoffmeyer, Florence Main, Second Loop, Pamplico Highway, Lake City and Timmonsville offices.
Fast joined First Citizens in 2007 as a member of the bank’s Management Trainee Program. In 2008, he served as a Relationship Manager at the company’s Johnnie Dodds Boulevard branch in Mount Pleasant, S.C., and was promoted to Retail Sales Manager of that office several months later. In November 2009, Fast joined the Coastal Commercial Banking Group and has served as a Commercial Relationship Manager for the past five years.

A Wofford College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business finance, Fast earned his MBA from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. He is a graduate of the Leadership Charleston program and an active member of the community.
