Three People Killed In Wreck On Hwy. 301 N (UPDATED)

Three people were killed in a wreck early Saturday morning on Highway 301 North near Commerce Drive in Dillon.
The victims were reported to be:
-Derrick Baker, Jr., age 18, of Fairmont, NC
-Wesley Chavis, age 23, of Fairmont, NC
-Andrew Hill, age 18, of Fairmont, NC

Three Fairmont residents were killed in a wreck this weekend on Highway 301 North near Commerce Drive.
The wreck occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on  Saturday morning. According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, the group, which consisted of five people, were traveling northbound on Highway 301 in a Chevrolet Impala. They ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Three people were killed, and two were flown to McLeod Hospital, the Highway Patrol said. Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies the deceased as Wesley Aaron Chavis, age 23, of Fairmont, N.C.; Derrick Baker Jr., age 18, of Fairmont, N.C.; and Andrew Hill, age 18, of Fairmont, N.C.
The S.C. Highway Patrol MAIT team is investigating the wreck.
