Both North teams took home wins in the boys’ and girls’ basketball North-South All-Star games held at Lexington High School on Saturday.
In the girls’ game, the North earned a 71-64 win over the South with Camden’s Sharneece Gary sinking four three-pointers to earn MVP honors.
Timmonsville standout Sade’ Eli earned MVP honors for the South team, scoring 18 points in the effort. Dillon’s Tyshanna Lester added 11 points, and Maya Jackson of West Florence added three.
In the boys’ game, the North earned a 96-84 win behind 17 points from MVP Tyreece Brice of South Pointe.
Christopher Turner of Denmark-Olar was named MVP for the South team and lead all scorers with a game-high 18 points.
