Albert Alford Campbell

Albert Alford Campbell peacefully went home to be with his Lord January 9, 2014.
Services were held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Burial with full military honors was held  in Pee Dee Presbyterian Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
He was born May 4, 1913 to Alexander Alford Campbell and Ella Jane Carmichael Campbell.  He served in the 263rd Battalion and was a Tech Sgt., was a life member of Blue Lodge in Hamer, SC.  He was a farmer and worked with Soil Conservation Service, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Bertha Horner Campbell and second wife Sara Kebler Rogers; brother, James Larue Campbell and sister, Mary Allene Campbell.  
He leaves a daughter, Lynne (Benny) Johnson; a son, Larry (Diane) Campbell; step-daughter, Kay & Bill McLean and step-son, Kenny & Tammy Rogers; five grandchildren, Michael Brown, Timmy Brown, Anita Brown Berry, Keith Campbell, and Baker Campbell; 15 great grandchildren.
His family would like to thank the Regency Hospice Healthcare Services for all their loving care especially Tracey Spivey, April and Barbara.
