Humane Society Working To Fund Cat Building

Members of the Humane Society of Dillon County are working diligently to fund a separate building for cats on the grounds of the Dillon Animal Shelter.
Cats are presently housed in two small rooms at the front of the building, and they desperately need more space. Also, more room is needed for isolation of sick and/or injured cats. Members are hopeful that when the new building is established, the former rooms for the cats may be used as a spay/neuter room. President Faye Perritt has worked ceaselessly to find a pre-fab building that is adequate for this purpose. She has gained the support of the City of Dillon as well as several generous donors, but more money is desperately needed for this venture. She, along with officers Mary McDaniel, Laurie Thompson, and Terry McColl, would like to encourage all citizens of Dillon County to help the Humane Society create a safer, healthier environment for the abandoned cats of Dillon County.
Donations can be sent to Humane Society of Dillon County, 952 Belin Court, Latta, SC 29565, or PO Box 173 Dillon, SC 29536. PAYPAL donations can be sent to humanesocietyofdilloncounty@gmail.com.
