Mrs. Estelle Mavis Ellis, 71, of Dillon, died July 5, 2013 in Florence, SC. She was born in Pender County, North Carolina to the late Ralph and Eunice Bordeux Beatty.
After moving to Dillon she was employed with McLeod Hospital for many years, with the last 20 years as a patient Representative.
She is survived by her sons Joey and Shawn Austin; grandchildren Maurice, Gemille, Eric and Keonna; sisters, Bernice, Velma, Beverly, Pattie and Brenda.
The funeral service was held 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church, Currie, NC. Interment followed in the Canetuck Church Cemetery. Services by Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Burgaw, NC.-Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
