Services for Carroll Allen Woodle will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Woodle, 79, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, May 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Lonnie Allen Woodle and Bertha Miller Woodle. He was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, was retired as a TV Repairman, and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Doris Jackson Woodle of Dillon; daughter, Lisa (Ray) Belk of Dillon; son, Michael Allen Woodle of Dillon; grandchildren, Raegan Belk (Jason) Spivey, Christian Allen Belk; nieces, Patsy English and Joyce Wells; nephew, Charles Harrelson.
Mr. Woodle was preceded in death by his brothers, J.C. Woodle and Melvin Woodle; sister, Elsie Woodle Conner; and a niece, Peggy Shaw Webster.
