Services for Kenneth Allen Carter will be held Wednesday May 22, 2013 at 3 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.prior to the service.
Mr. Carter, 68, died Friday in McLeod Hospice House.
Born in Dillon County, April 29, 1945, he was the son of Clara Margaret Calder Carter and the late Dunn Carter. He attended Florence Baptist Temple and was retired from Lowes after many years of service.
Survivors include his mother, Clara M. Carter of Latta; sister, Elaine C. Evans and her husband Jimmy of Lake View; brother, Ralph Carter and his wife Susan of Latta; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 2 great nephews.
