On Wednesday, the Vikings were scheduled to host Mullins, and tonight, Latta will host Lake View.

Both Latta and Lake View are undefeated in the region, and the Wild Gators hold a perfect record overall this season. The Gators, who were state runner up in 2011, have a strong team made up of veteran players, including some who played on the 2011 team. The Gators won five straight titles from 1997 to 2001 and won their most recent title in 2005.

The Vikings are the best they’ve been since Coach Daniel Little took over five years ago. The Vikings won a district championship two years ago but finished as district runner-up in 2012.

Lake View will be at Latta tonight at 5:30 p.m. Make plans to attend to support our teams and enjoy some great baseball action!
