On Sunday, February 24, 2013, six LVHS Lady Gator Softball Team members, accompanied by Coach Brandy Huggins, attended the 2013 South Carolina High School Sports Report Spring Sport Media Day. Among those attending were: senior Fontae Owens, sophomore third baseman Ashley Rogers, junior pitcher/shortstop Morgan Herlong, junior Amber Locklear, senior center fielder Chelsea Spivey, and senior first baseman KD Cox.
