Latta’s Donell Stanley received visits from South Carolina, Ohio State, and North Carolina last week. The 6-foot-3, 311-pound offensive lineman is ranked as a four-star prospect by rivals.com and already has 13 offers, including Alabama and LSU. Stanley has not yet made a commitment to college team and says he is not in a hurry to decide.
Stanley will be back on the Latta Vikings baseball team this spring at first base. Last season he had four home runs and drove in 30 runs. The Vikings were ranked seventh in the state in the SCBCA preseason baseball poll.
